We as an adults have got so much to worry and stress over that sometimes we just forget how to relax, sit back and look at life's blessings. We are so busy in accumulating all sort of material wealth and possessions that we are missing on the priceless and timeless blessings we have. We don't live in present. We either dwell in past regretting over how we could have made it better or we live in anxiety of what future holds. We hardly have time to thank God for all the things we have, family, friends, good health. We take everything and everyone for granted. I was in the kitchen finishing up my daily chores and was stressing over some issues which if I say honestly aren't worth stressing over; two tiny arms curled around my waist and I heard sweet little voice saying, " mum, why are you upset? Am I not nice today? " tears rolled down my cheek. I realise how much time I waste stressing over something useless and when my girls will grow up then I will regret that I did not spend quality time with them. Because we humans are brilliant in regretting or living in anxiety but we fail to embrace the present moment.
